NEW DELHI: From an company selling over-the-counter (OTC) medications, Sequoia Capital-backed Healthkart has transformed into one that is absolutely focussed on sustenance and wellness items.

"We are re-situating ourselves into a vertical player in wellness and sustenance. At first we began with OTC medications yet later we saw a greater open door in nourishment and wellness items which is conceivably a 2 to 3 billion dollar market in India," said Sameer Maheshwari, CEO at Healthkart, which began exploring different avenues regarding private brands in this vertical in 2013.
